Look who I Found

I don't know why but I was thinking about how we were going to christen our baby when he is born...and look who I found...

http://www.tucsoncsl.org/subpages2_flash/minister_bio.html

I don't know why but he is just a great guy and if ever in UT I would have him christen this baby too! He was the only religious figure Jared and I would have gone to church for.
Oh well.... :)

If you dont remember he married us and christened Max.

Just thought I would share.

Baby Boy Nursery

We are done with the baby's nursery....would you expect anything less from me :)
This time we wanted to go with something a little more simple and clean.
I chose a nautical theme in navy and white.
The walls are lighthouse blue with an off white base. Jared did a great job on the chair rail.
To keep things clean and simple we bought some black and white sail boat photographs for the walls.
I haven't decided on a mobile yet...I am not sure I will get one or even make one at this point.
We will see.
I cant believe I have 10-12 weeks left..that's so soon! But I am totally ready. I hate this part of pregnancy...the last 3 months are a bitch :) aching back, cant sleep, you feel fat as a house etc....and I am just plain ready to meet my little man. (So is Max and daddy)
Max will be taking a siblings class in a month to learn how to feed, play and just be a great big brother.
Here are some pictures of our little guys room.

Putt Putt

Let's go Golfin'

Maximus had been doing so well this past week with potty training. He is so close, we wanted to give him a little motivational surprise!!!
Anyway because we are all stir crazy and sick of being stuck in the house (we still have a good foot of snow) we decided a nice treat would be to play some mini golf. Max has been obsessed with golf lately...and too bad its at a terrible time of year. Soon it wont matter he can golf year round..but thats another story for another time.
I found an indoor putt putt for us to go to. Max had a blast!! He is left handed for sure.
So Jared plans on getting Max a set of left handed clubs at the PGA show later this month. The right handed set we have now will be baby brothers (pending he is right handed).
I wanted to post some pictures but Jared took the camera to work and forgot to bring it back.
Overall he had a great afternoon and loved getting out there to actually play some golf and not just wii golf.

HAPPY NEW YEARS 2009

Happy New Years!!
I wish everyone a great 2009. May all your goals come about. It is going to be a great year.
For the Wilsons my plan is to have a healthy baby boy...nix the NICU this time and come home with all four family members :)
I also hope to see everyone over the summer!

I also want to get in the best shape ever. I have never been athletic but its time I try. I am going to get a jogging stroller and membership to Thanksgiving Point so while I am on maternity leave I can jog around the gardens.
I also really want to finally get into Yoga. I have done it on and off but never stuck with it. This year I will stick to it!

I also plan to expand on my career and really pursue owning my own business or finding something to jump the corporate ladder with. (I cant resolve to move out of state until 2011) so I might as well do something I really want.

I also want to plan a family Thanksgiving or Christmas reunion in FL. I want to spend next Christmas by the pool.

For my Max I want to get him into dance or Karate and some swimming lessons.

For Jared I want him to finally get his raise and promotion from work. He works so hard and can really take his company places if given the chance.
I also resolve to let him take Max to the golf course everyweek in the spring and summer.

Jared and I also need to start planning a monthly date night. We do so much already as a family but rarely get out just as the two of us.

Last but not least I plan to get a new car and payoff our little CC debt we have. It is a small amount and should go!

Merry Christmas....

So let the Christmas festivities begin...
We have had non stop snow for 8 days. It is a white Christmas for sure.
I hope next Christmas is a warm one by a pool..LOL!!

We started Christmas Eve off with a little shopping in the morning and then moved on to Santa Letters that afternoon..
Max wanted a fire engine, spaceship, cars...

Once daddy got home from work. Max and daddy made a gingerbread train that mama and papa got Max for Christmas.

We finished the day with reindeer food (oatmeal and glitter) and church.
We went to the local Presbyterian church to listen to some Christmas carols.
Max only made it half way through the mass before we had to duck out.
He had enough :)
The reindeer left a mess all over the porch and footprints in the snow..but the snow storm covered them all up by time we got up in the morning.

Oh boy...the clock strikes 5.30am and here comes Max prancing down the hall.
"Has Santa come?"
We convinced Max to spend a half an hour watching TV in bed before we headed downstairs.

But before to long Max had to have some go juice...
Chocolate milk.
