Scarecrow Festival

On Saturday we went to the Scarecrow festival with a bunch of our friends...The Sorensons and Wilsons. It was a very warm day and Max played like no other.
Max in the bouncy castle... He loved that thing.

Jack wishing he could be in the bouncy castle. He loves everything his big brother does.

Poor little Jack...I should say big Jack. That hat fit Max at 1 year and it is too small on Jack who is not quite 6 months.
Mommys little line backer.

Daddy and Max made rockets and launched them into space.

Drew and Max (3rd cousins) and now BFF's

This pirate launched candy into the air...too bad it wasn't Rum :)

Shannon and Jack. He snuggled down and fell right to sleep.

Max had never been on a pony. He loved it. We might have to look into some horse lessons.
I have heard they are really good with kids and disabilities.

There was too much to do at the fair. Haunted houses, pop corn, Cotton candy, games, blow up slides, shows, shopping etc etc....
This is what happens to boys after a very full day....

Jack says DADA

Jack can say dada now... he has been at it since Wednesday.
So exciting. All of a sudden he is rolling over and babbling dada.
We just need to work on mama. Why is dada always the first word :( I am not jealous..much.

Sneak Peak at Christmas

Cute huh! I had to get some proper stockings. Love them!! Found them at Pottery Barn Kids.
Now if I was like my mommy she would have made them from scratch but I can only do the store bought ones. Just had to share.

Pumpkin Picking

We had a fun time at the pumpkin patch. Still nothing like the ones in NJ with pie, games, mazes and apple picking but this was still a great place.

Max picked out 7 pumpkins..two each for him and Jack (Jack got little pumpkins because he is so small and Max got the biggest pumpkins he could find.
Then we picked a mommy and daddy pumpkin and one extra for fun.

Max and Mommy took a turn at the pumpkin pictures

While we were waiting for the hayride I took a couple of pictures of Jack.

Max taking a break eating an apple cider cinnamon donut
They were awesome! Just needed a cup of coffee to make them perfect.
But we live in UT and finding a cup of coffee is like trying to find a glass of wine.

The farm has a really large apple and cherry orchard. Unfortunately you cannot pick your own apples.
But they were really pretty to drive by on our hay ride.

I tried taking this picture myself.....oh well good enough.
LOL...

The Childrens Garden Part 2

We went back to the Childrens garden with cousin Keira.
I really like this place. It is full of mazes, little activities and connects right to Thanksgiving point gardens one of my favorite places here.
I still think they need to open it up for Christmas and have sleigh rides and lights...maybe I need to make the suggestion.
I would love to make Max and Jack a fort when we move into our next house.

Max loves feeding fish...

This was such a cute idea and really easy to make...if you wanted to.
Maybe I will make it a job for Jared next spring.

Looking over the gardens...

and rolling down the hill
This was the last hot day in UT for the year. I have to say I am very sad to see the lovely weather disappear.

Jack and his Saucer

Jack is the kind of baby that needs lots of extra attention. He wants to do everything Max does.
So...we thought since he loves playing in these at daycare maybe it will help at home.
It works for about 15 min then he wants to be picked up again :)
But look how cute he is!!!

Can you believe he is 17 pounds???
