A Summer Weekend

Our weekend started a little rocky...well to be honest I was a lot pissy. I wanted to finally get to the pool to find out the first weekend I pick its Lehi Days and the pool is closed. If I would have been paying attention I would have changed the weekend plans. Max would have liked to see the parade and go to the city park for bouncy rides etc....
Instead we went to Draper city pool. Took us over 2 hours to get there and poor Jack was starving. AHHHH. However once we go there I was happy to be in the sun and in the water.
I LOVE SUMMER!!! (No pictures at the pool forgot my camera) But we will be going to the pool weekly now the weather has finally caught up to the season.

Sunday while daddy was golfing Max mommy and Jack went to the park.

This is just a random picture but for those English family members you will appreciate this...Max loves his Royal Dauhl. (He is ready the Dirty Beast Book)...okok looking at it.
His favorite story "The Crocodile".

Baby Jack's Christening

On Sunday June 21st: Fathers Day and the first day of Summer.
Jackson Alexander Wilson was christened in the United Methodist Church in Sandy UT.
We were very lucky to be able to celebrate this day with my dad (grandad) and Nonna.

The Christening was very lovely.

Now no one can say we are not a colorful family full of all sorts of religious backgrounds.
Can't say we are judgemental.
Me: christened Polish/ Catholic, my hubby: baptised Mormon; Max blessed church of religious sciences; and Jack baptised United Methodist.
Not to mention my dad who is church of England, Geri nonna a roman catholic and Jareds parents LDS.
I think the next blessing should be baptist just for good measure :) LOL!
Afterwards we all went as a family to lunch. It was nice to have everyone make it.
My only blood relative in UT. Shannon and her hubby Brian with their boys Drew and Austin.

Day out with Granddad and Nonna

granddad and nonna came for a visit. They were so excited to see the new addition..Jack.
And we were just as excited to have them. I love spending time with them. I feel like my old self again...(whatever that means)
Friday was a nice day out so we decided to have some lunch outside and spend the afternoon walking around the gateway.

Of course Max had to run in the fountains. He loves it! Unfortunately he fell down and gave himself a bloody nose. Granddad took good care of him. The funny part of all of this was Max hated having his wet underwear on and decided to go naked (well he had a shirt on) until him and granddad reached the GAP to buy some more dry clothes. I wish I got a picture of that!!
Here are some pre-bloody nose pictures...

We had lunch at the Italian restaurant there...Don't remember the name but it was very nice!
The mahi mahi was excellent.

And we always love taking Max into Express. The music really gets him moving and with his "Boys" in the mirror..He Jams like there is no tomorrow.
Dance Max Dance!!!

Tree's

Our poor Tree's...we had two nice shade tree's planted last year in the back yard. Both died over the winter. I just dont think they were strong enough...you kow those $20.00 tree's from Lowes.
This year to replace them we bought a pretty cool pine tree and a sturdy maple. Now, we wont be in this house long enough to really see them grow but hey...someone will enjoy our efforts one day:)

Ladies Night Out

OK, so its been awhile since I made it to a ladies night out. You know I had a baby and all...
I was either to preggers to make it out of the house or I just had my little man. So it was so nice to finally make it back into the swing of monthly girls Blitz night.
And this time I could finally have a real drink...! YAY!!!

Ok so you have noticed these are mostly posed pictures but the evening was tons of fun!!
Next month at my house.

I just need to get my shy butt up and dance like everyone else can....I wish I could just let my tight ass personality loose every once in a awhile...may next time with a couple of extra drinks :)

Random Things

So...As my maternity leave starts to wind down I find that I have not done nearly all the things I had on my to do list...oh well.
Here are a few random things that have been captured over the last week.

Our little boy is not so little anymore...he is more like a Buddha baby. My guess he is 12 pounds already.
Jack likes to sleep on his tummy. I thought for a little tummy time I would use his boppy.
He thought it was a shoulder and fell asleep in 2 seconds flat...

I love his little plaid "old man" pants!

I found a couple of pictures of our trip to the gardens for Fairy Tale Night.

We had a picnic and now I think it will be our summer family night.

I was not much of a fan on the Twilight movie. Really thought it was poorly done but the trailer to New Moon looks really good!
